A few weeks ago I told you about the new Eli & Abby Manning Birthing Center planned for St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan.
Now, thanks to CNBC’s Darren Rovell, we are able to see the first ad for the Center:
Although apparently the facility is so full already that there are just babies sitting out on the floor without any clothes on. Sad.
I am all for charity (bold stance!), but I don’t know if this facility is a good idea in the long run. Eli Manning is a quarterback with a 76.1 career passer rating over five NFL seasons. He is an average to below-average quarterback without an elite wide receiver to throw to. Yes, he has won a Super Bowl.
But there aren’t a lot of people lining up to get into Baltimore General’s Trent Dilfer Birthing Center.
I’m just saying, if my options are having a kid born inside a building named after Eli Manning or elsewhere, I’m going elsewhere. Let’s just hope the Mark Sanchez Birthing Center opens in New York City soon. Your wife will push that baby out right away in hopes Sanchez will put another on in.
Also, no stork droppings all over the halls like at Elisha’s place.
