The NCAA Tournament begins in less than five weeks. And I have a pretty good picture of what the bracket will look like.
Today: 16th seeds.
East — 16a — Prairie View A&M: Currently they’re only fourth in the SWAC, and they’ll need to win their conference tournament, but I think they’re peaking at the right time. Book this one.
East — 16b — North Dakota State: I saw someone else projecting them as a 15 seed in the Midwest. Are you f–king kidding me? This is the second No. 16 seed in the East if I’ve ever seen one. You’d have to be insane to think differently.
South — 16 — Morgan State: Bethune-Cookman will win the MEAC tournament and earn the automatic bid, but I project they will die in a tragic bus crash while returning home, giving the bid to runner-up Morgan State.
Midwest — 16 — UT-Martin: I used my trademarked Bracketology 5000 software program to confirm this slotting. My formula doesn’t lie due to it’s reliance on the most important arbitrary data. If UT-Martin isn’t put here, it’s on the ignorance of the selection committee.
West — 16 — Long Beach State: This one I’m only 99-percent sure of. There’s a chance they could get the No. 15 seed in the Midwest. Or not make the Tournament at all. I don’t know everything.
