Eli and Chuck E. Cheese, Part 2

Last month I detailed Elisha Manning’s misadventures at a New York-area Chuck E. Cheese.

Little did I know that Chuck E. Cheese is a rather violent place.

The wobbly video shows a group of adults milling inside the Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant. Suddenly, the camera pans left and captures a fight breaking out.

The 22-second clip, uploaded Sunday to YouTube and reportedly shot during a fight Saturday at the Susquehanna Twp. restaurant, is the latest example of what police describe as a crime trend: Escalating violence between adults at a place designed for children’s birthday parties.

Susquehanna Twp. police have been called to the restaurant on Union Deposit Road 12 times in the past year for reports of disorderly conduct, assault and theft.

“It’s madness, absolute madness,” Susquehanna Twp. Police Chief Robert A. Martin said.

What a troubling year for the New York Giants. First it was Applebee’s that became too dangerous to enter. And, now, Elisha’s favorite nightspot, Chuck E. Cheese, turns out to have more dangers than just a roomful of plastic balls covered in saliva and fecal bacteria.

So distraught and confused is young Elisha that now he is even letting his wife touch his pee-pee place. No, Eli! Bad touch! Bad touch! But, hey – at least you kept her on the outside of your OshKosh B’Gosh overalls.

  1. I’ve been to that CEC here in Harrisburg. Elisha would not survive all the Amish hoodlums.

  2. sportspickle

Would you believe that is the Chuck E. Cheese closest to my house? (At least that I know of.)

No, that’s crazy talk! For someone as cool as me would surely live someplace nicer than an area ridden with Chuck E. Cheese violence.

    Wouldn’t he? (No.)
